Meet our Trading Instructors
Ross Cameron was born and raised in southern Vermont. He is a graduate of the Dublin School and holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Vermont College. While in school, he studied architecture and became proficient drawing construction documents in AutoCAD. During the mid 2000’s, Ross lived in Manhattan and worked at an architecture and product design firm. After watching his investments lose value during the late 2000’s, Ross believed he could achieve better performance by managing his portfolio himself. He moved back to Vermont and began day trading small cap stocks under $20.
In 2012, Ross founded Warrior Trading (formally, Day Trade Warrior) as a live trading chat room for education and idea generation. He wanted to create a community where traders could surround themselves with other professionals. In 2014, he began teaching Day Trading classes with a focus on risk management, stock selection and identifying the safest entries. Ross continues to trade in his chat room and teach trading courses.
In his free time Ross enjoys sailing, gardening and fixing vintage Mercedes diesel engines. Ross lives with his family and his dogs in Brattleboro, Vermont. You can reach Ross at [email protected]
Jeff is a U.S. equities and options trader. In 2006, he met and learned under a professional options trader and mentor who helped him understand the markets and learn how to do more than just manage mutual funds in an IRA. Over the years, Jeff has learned many of the aspects required to be successful in the stock market: Risk management, risk/reward evaluations, fundamental and technical analysis, and trading psychology.
Jeff has also been a small business owner and entrepreneur for several years, in addition to being a full time trader. He has been a part of many of the trading communities and chat rooms on the web, but has finally found a home that suits his trading style and skill set here at Warrior Trading. Jeff is a moderator for the Warrior Trading chat room and regularly announces his trades in chat, along with play by play updates. He also does the swing trading education, watch lists and real time swing trade alerts at Warrior Trading. He prefers trading high relative volume stocks with momentum and good chart setups, as well as different bounce and reversal strategies. Jeff spends time mentoring new and experienced traders with focus on helping to develop and refine their own strategies, advanced risk management techniques and understanding high probability setups. Jeff is a day trader, swing trader and long time investor junkie. While trading, he prefers to subscribe to the K.I.S.S. methodology, “Keep It Simple, Stupid.” You can reach Jeff at [email protected]
