Hemang’s Story
Hemang is a momentum day trader and a Warrior Pro graduate with over $1 million in verified trading profits. When Hemang began day trading, he was still working full-time as a pharmacist. In his career as a pharmacist, he worked at a retail pharmacy behind the counter and then got a job working at a big pharmaceutical company.
In an interview with Ross, Hemang shared that he set up multiple monitors in his office at the pharmaceutical company, and people were curious about what he needed them for, and why he was always looking at the other monitors during conference calls. As it turns out, he was focusing more and more on trading stocks.
He said he tried doing both for a while, but found it increasingly difficult to focus on work. Taking the leap of faith and quitting his 9-5 job was not a decision he took lightly. He worked hard to get to the position he was in. But the fact remained, he was making far more trading the markets. Hemang put in his notice and committed to becoming a full-time trader. He has since earned his $1 million badge and continues to trade each day.
Hemang’s Strategy
Hemang’s strategy is focused on trading momentum, specifically on small-cap stocks. He’s looking for stocks to move up quickly and then he jumps on during a pullback. His favorite strategies that he trades on a regular basis include the broken ABCD pattern, Red to Green patterns, Momentum Dips, and Circuit Breaker Halts. Hemang is uses the ThinkorSwim platform for his trading and benefits from commission-free trading.
Disclosure
At Warrior Trading we grant Profitability Badges for members who verify their gains with brokerage statements. Not everyone is willing to do this. As a provider of trading tools and education, we do not have access to the personal trading accounts or brokerage statements of our customers, so we cannot confirm that our customers perform better or worse than other traders. These interviews are from members who voluntarily verified their gains, though as a reminder, such results are not typical.
